A ferry ride from the aqua blue waters of Miami to the picturesque islands of the Bahamas, is what I consider an ideal way to spend a beautiful day.
If you are in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach or anywhere near the South Florida region, you can easily make a day trip to one of the most beautiful nations in the Caribbean.
The Bahamas is famous for its majestic coral reefs, pink and white sandy beaches, crystal clear water with a turquoise hue and of course, a beautiful diverse culture.
While you can opt for an international flight or indulge in one of the many cruise ships, there is nothing like a short trip via a ferry to The Bahamas.
It is the most exciting way to explore this wonderful archipelago in the Caribbean.
