Mirage Hotel
Just like its sister property Excalibur, The Mirage Hotel features fabulous lush tropical vibe with palm trees and a huge kid-friendly swimming pool.
Although not as extravagant as other Las Vegas hotel pools, The Mirage Hotel does offer a nice family-friendly vibe and has a more relaxed atmosphere than other hotel pool areas.
Hotel guests have free access to the Mirage pool area and all of its amenities.
Although there is an option for non-hotel guests to reserve pool side seating to access the area, unless you get a really good deal, you can opt for other pools in Vegas that have many more things to do for kids of all ages.
Wynn Las Vegas Pools & Cabanas
Wynn Las Vegas has three swimming pools out of which, the main large pool is kid-friendly.
You get luxurious cabanas with a host of amenities and superb daybeds to spend a nice afternoon.
While at Wynn Las Vegas, adults can go for the Encore Beach Club, which is a separate pool complex with a party vibe.
Encore Beach Club is famous for its special events, DJs, luxury cabanas and drinks options.
Coming back to the family-friendly pool at Wynn Las Vegas, it does not have any special features as such to attract kids but at the same time offers a good time for the entire family to enjoy.
All pools at Wynn Las Vegas are strictly for hotel guests only.
Treasure Island
The main tropical themed swimming pool at Treasure Island is a good place to spend time with the family and is large enough for everyone to be entertained.
To be honest, Treasure Island would not be my priority go-to place for kid-friendly pools but guests do seem to like the hotel overall especially since it has wonderful entertainment including the famous show Mystère by Cirque du Soleil.
The Treasure Island swimming pool complex is open to hotel guests only.
Delano Beach Club
Delano Beach Club is a superb swimming pool complex located within the Delano Hotel in Las Vegas.
The advantage of Delano Beach Club for families, is that hotel guests can have unrestricted access to both Delano and Mandalay Bay beach pools.
It really is the best place if pool time with your family is a priority considering Delano together with the famous Mandalay Bay Beach pool complex is regarded as one of the best kid-friendly pools in Las Vegas.
What You Should Know About Family-Friendly Pools in Las Vegas
Our list of the best pools in Las Vegas for families show that there are enough options available in Las Vegas for a fun family holiday.
However, before you narrow down on the pool that you would like to visit, do keep a few things in mind.
1) Most Las Vegas pools are seasonal and are closed during the months of December and January.
Please enquire or check the respective hotel website for opening dates in February.
Pool timings may also change as per the season and do keep this in mind when planning your day in the city.
2) Several of the swimming pools in Las Vegas are for hotel guests only. You need to show the keycard to the guest rooms to get access.
However, there are many that do allow outsiders and non-hotel guests can access the pools if they purchase a day pass or reservation to a private cabana.
All hotels part of MGM Resorts are the popular option for non-hotel guests as you can purchase access and they usually have the best family-friendly pools in all of Las Vegas.
Do check the hotel websites for current pool pass or cabana reservation prices as this can differ from hotel to hotel as per season.
3) Sometimes, there could be DJs, loud music or special events at a hotel pool complex that could be overbearing for kids.
Do check with your hotel or simply opt for a pool that very explicitly states that they are family friendly or have several water based attractions for kids.
Enjoy with your family at Vegas
The best pools in Las Vegas for families offer so much more than simply swimming.
My personal feelings are that when you are in Vegas, you need to swim Vegas style as well.
Go for one of those pools that compliment the Las Vegas extravagant lifestyle, and it will be a day to remember for the entire family.
